Welcoming our friends from Thailand!

Hello, Pim, Fay and Grace!
Welcome to Singapore, Endeavour Primary School!
We are very glad to play host to our friends from Thailand!
They will be attending lessons with us for a week.
Today, at the school assembly, the Thai pupils performed their cultural songs and dances.
It was wonderful!
We enjoyed the song - Loi Krathong.

Loi Krathong (or Loy Krathong) is a festival celebrated annually throughout Thailand.
"Loi" means "to float".
"Krathong" is lantern, traditionally made from a section of banana tree trunk.
